Otter Lake Provincial Park
Site 4
May 16 to 19, 2014

This was our first trip in our “new” 24 foot Keystone Cougar trailer.  Otter Lake Provincial Park was our only option for the May long weekend as there were virtually no other campsites available within a reasonable distance from home base.

But we got off to a bad start.  During the trailer disconnect process, brilliant Wayne managed to snag the trailer’s emergency brake ripcord wire under the front support foot.  In his defense, the wire is not easy to see and tends to get in the way due to it’s proximity to trailer jack.  Be that as it may, it happened (unbeknownst to us at the time) and we carried on our merry way to setting up camp.  The first day was fun and full of learning curves as part of the process of getting acquainted to our trailer.
