Shuswap Lake Provincial Park
Site 1

This is, without question, our favorite campground…we had such a good time the 1st go around that we had to come back. Here are a few of the things that attracted up the most and main reason why, year after year, we keep coming back:
- Large, private campsites with easy in, easy out. Site 1 was “our” site
- Close proximity to the store – easy walking distance, and the closest campsite to the store.
- so many places to walk, bike and explore. The network of paved roads go on for kilometers (almost 3 km alone to circle around the entire campsite.
- close proximity the the town of Scotch Creek. Scotch Creek has one fantastic store the combines an excellent variety of groceries and liquor plus it has a deli counter, serves as the town’s post office, and has nice, friendly staff.
- a welcome distance from the Lake. We’re not fans of boat noise, lake party animals or screaming kids.
